Well the time has come to say good bye to friends in London. I am moving to California to study at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding. So to celebrate we took off to Byroms for some of the best hamburgers in London. I had of course prepared a little painting for each of my guests.
Arriving in California, I would soon need a car. Much better for me, to be in a place where you have to drive everywhere, than all the walking in London, given the protracted problems with my foot and knee. Not as good for the environment of course. Especially my chariot of choice a 5.4l 360bhp Ford Expedition with already 168000 on the clock.
Bethel’s mission is to equip and deploy revivalists who passionately pursue world-wide transformation in their God given spheres of influence. Students are trained to continue in the ministry style of Jesus: to enjoy the presence of God, say what He is saying, and do what He is doing. I am looking forward to getting going in the school. Which if you count the Texans as foreigners is over 50% international. There are currently 2500 students across the three years of the course and it would be bigger still if there were room for more. There is an international welcome event which was fun to attend before the real work of study began. I will keep you posted here on how things go.
