Bren Hills is a revivalist, artist and photographer spending time between Redding, California and his home city of London.
Bren carries a deep conviction that the Kingdom of God is about personal, cultural, economic and social transformation of our world through God’s reviving power. Bren’s life message is Matthew 9:35 “and Jesus saw the crowds and had compassion on them because they were helpless like sheep without a shepherd.” He encourages others to undergo personal transformation through a process of learning to see the world as Jesus sees it then experiencing the deep emotional connection that compassion creates and using this as a driver to action.
After a successful career in the public and private sectors managing large scale change in services covering everything from libraries, adult education and arts facilities through to refuse collection and highways, Bren has taken time out from the corporate world. In 2012, Bren launched his own social enterprise the Micah Foundation to provide consultancy often pro bono for NGOs in Africa.
When in London he attends Holy Trinity Brompton – the Home of Alpha and whilst in Redding, California he is a student of the renowned Bethel Church School of Supernatural Ministry. In the summer of 2017, Bren will be attending the IRIS Harvest Missions School in Pemba, Mozambique.
Bren has undertaken projects in Sierra Leone, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi. Bren retains a strong passion for Africa and all its many people groups. Bren has also been active as a church leader for many years in the fields of worship, preaching and mission.
